Ecological & sustainability statement

We deeply care about our planet and want to work in harmony with the environment,

so we’ve taken care that our business practice is as sustainable as possible

Locally sourced mushrooms

We are a small, independent business based in Cornwall, UK and source our mushrooms from another small, local independent business also based in Cornwall called Mushlove. This means our mushrooms don’t have very far to travel and our carbon footprint is kept as low as possible. Sourcing locally where possible means less environmental impact and we can support small businesses to grow and flourish.

Adaptogens & cacao

Whilst it isn’t possible to source all our ingredients locally, due to their natural growing environments, we always source organic ingredients from eco-conscious suppliers. Our cacao is sourced from agro-chemical/pesticide free farms and from small scale growers and farmers co-operatives in Peru.

Packaging

Our current packaging is very minimal and almost fully recyclable (everything except the stickers). We’re working on new packaging that is fully recyclable but it takes some time. When we’ve got our brand new packaging we’ll let you know! We don’t use plastic in our packaging.

We use fully recyclable cardboard made of recycled materials for our orders.
