About Us

It had to be chocolate.

Janina was fascinated by mushrooms, but didn’t enjoy swallowing capsules. She began experimenting with cacao and mushroom extracts, making chocolate she wanted to eat and share.

Luma grew out of those experiments. The pleasure of chocolate is where it began, and it’s still at the heart of every bar.

A curious combination.

Our dark chocolate brings together single-origin Ecuadorian cacao and organic mushroom extracts. DAWN, DAY and DUSK each have their own flavour and place in your day.

Luma Mushrooms is based in Ramsgate, Kent.
